THE VALUE YOU'LL BRING:

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will directly support the Co-manufacturing category and report to the Copack category manager. They will be responsible for developing and conducting sourcing projects for goods and services including but not limited to; RFx data management, Data Analysis, Spend Reporting, Market Analysis, Bid Analysis and supporting the category management team in day-to-day tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Project Management: Assist the category manager with project initiatives, adherence to timelines, and copacker development. Works with cross functional teams to commercialize new products and support internal stakeholders with various documentation requests

Vendor Evaluation: Research category trends, evaluates copacker capacity to support business needs, and recommend new product capabilities. Continues to build new and existing copacker relationships

Pricing Updates: Manage copacker pricing database and handle all SAP pricing updates. Work in conjunction with accounting teams to resolve invoice & inventory discrepancies.

FSQA Support: Assist FSQA team with supplier facility audits, complaint resolutions, and adherence to FSQA requirements

Data Collection: Collects technical specifications and commercial specifications, including buyer info, bid item, volume, supplier management, pricing. Benchmark suppliers in RFx efforts. Partner to identify Decision Matrix criterion and provide relevant data and recommendations back to internal category management team.

Supplier Research & Outreach: Informs current suppliers about upcoming bids (e.g., e-mail letter and/or direct contact). Starts supplier outreach (both current and new suppliers); submits list of potentially interested new suppliers and RFx for approval; manages the signoff list of potential suppliers for participation and RFx; Sends RFx request to targeted suppliers.

RFx (x=Information/Proposal and Quote) Process: Supports or Leads RFx activity. Draft and clarify requirements with stakeholders. Define and document statement of work or goods. Create quantitative Decision Matrix. Finalizes RFx (RFx document, Cost Breakdown document, Decision Matrix, Bid Parameters, etc.)

Post-bid Analysis: Collects post-bid data, analyze, and provide recommendation. Set up demonstrations as required per need of evaluation.

Spend Reporting: Creates and generates detailed spend reports by sourcing category to be published to senior leadership

General Market Analysis: Provides monthly/weekly input cost market reports pertaining to specific category

Competitive Benchmarking: Identify Best in Class process for analysis.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

Sourcing and Procurement experience, preferred.

Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time.

Demonstrated experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Excel and Power BI.
