*Description*
Summary:
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Contracting Agent to join Nuvance Health network, responsible for overseeing capital purchasing, negotiations, and purchase services across various departments including Corporate Facilities, Clinical Engineering, and Environmental Services. This role is pivotal in driving strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes and ensure cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for our seven hospitals
*Responsibilities:*
*1. **Capital Purchasing: *Own the strategic sourcing and procurement of capital equipment and assets necessary for operational efficiency and clinical excellence across the healthcare network.*
2. *Negotiations: *Conduct negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements for capital purchases and services.
*3. **Purchase Services: *Manage the procurement of purchase services required for the smooth functioning of Corporate Facilities, Clinical Engineering, and Environmental Services departments*.*
4. *Vendor Management: *Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to contract terms, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
5. *Strategic Sourcing: *Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes, minimize costs, and achieve operational efficiencies.
*6. **Contract Management: *Oversee the lifecycle of contracts, from initial negotiation through renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.*
7. *Collaboration: *Collaborate closely with departmental stakeholders, including clinicians, engineers, and facility managers, to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
8. *Cost Analysis: *Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
9. *Compliance and Risk Management: *Ensure procurement activities align with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and maintain compliance*.*

11. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
12. Performs other duties as required.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelors degree would be required (unless there is 10 + years relevant experience)
Preferred knowledge of healthcare supply chain, preferred knowledge of working with a GPO in healthcare a plus, Infor knowledge a plus, Contract negotiation experience a plusWorking Conditions:
