Provides business and process guidance to internal customers, business needs analysis, total cost analysis, contract negotiations, supplier relations and supply category management; educates business owners within the organization on the RP and New York State procurement policies, establishes a business case, business plan and Return on Investment (ROI) on purchases; negotiates total value with suppliers to include total cost, price, utilization improvements and business terms; Oversees Service lines including but not limited to Research, Clinical, Lab, Nursing, Perioperative Services and Imaging.Salary range for this position is $103,784 - $127,830 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirements
1. Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.); or
2.Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM); or
3. Related certifications from the Institute of Supply Management or the Association for Supply Management (fka APICS)
Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field and four (4) years of progressive supply chain experience including business analysis, negotiations and category management; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field and six (6) years of progressive supply chain experience including business analysis, negotiations and category management.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including pivot tables, vlookups, document change tracking, possess the ability to influence others and also business acumen and negotiation skills. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of terms of conditions for contracts and purchase orders and also possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
