Strategic Sourcing Manager (MRO Category) - Avendra International

**Job Description**
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for the planning and execution of contracting initiatives that result in successful contracts that support the needs of our customers. This position will support new expansions within Aramark enterprise growth. The categories covered in this position include various MRO categories including, but not limited to the plumbing, electrical and HVAC categories. The role requires sound judgment, flexibility, maturity, ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, strong analytic ability and excellent communication and organization skills. The Manager will oversee a portfolio of contracts/categories and manage the portfolio for compliance, financial success and customer satisfaction.
This is a hybrid role based out of either Avendra headquarters in Rockville, Maryland or Aramark headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

**Job Responsibilities**
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Manage annual work plan by creating realistic timelines and meeting milestones.
+ Lead effective supplier negotiations and pricing strategy development efforts which integrate Avendra?s principles and value proposition.
+ Act as subject matter ?expert? in categories and supplier pool. Experience in the MRO / Indirect engineering categories is preferred.
+ Build and maintain supplier relationships; hold suppliers accountable to deliver contractual commitments.

**Qualifications**
**Years of Relevant Experience** 5-10 years of experience in business management (operational or management consulting) with an understanding of procurement, contracting, supply chain optimization and/or category management with a background in the MRO industry preferred.
**Education Requirements** BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience with education in supply chain, business, economics, or related field highly desired

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $110,000 to 117.000, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
