**Position Summary** The Strategic Sourcing Project Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with company goals. This role involves building procurement market insights to identify trends, opportunities, and supply chain improvements to deliver business performance objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong data analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of global market dynamics. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Create and execute sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs + Conduct thorough market research to gather intelligence on global industry trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscape + Optimize input costs and margin-over-materials, though business strategy alignment and tactical execution + Assess and mitigate risks associated with sourcing and procurement activities + Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions + Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies align with business objectives + Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary + Other duties as may be assigned **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree required, in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field + 5 or more years of professional experience in procurement or business role **Knowledge, Skills, & Talents** + Experience in commodity trading, strategic sourcing processes, market analysis, strategy development, supplier relationship management and development of should-cost models + Strong negotiation and communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy + Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in the procurement process + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively + Ability to influence and work in cross functional teams, with agility and results-driven execution + Experienced in data analysis and presentation skills, using Microsoft, BI and ERP system **Equal Employment Opportunity** Vantage is an equal opportunity employer.
