Strategic Sourcing Specialist, IT Infrastructure

As Strategic Sourcing Specialist- IT Infrastructure, you manage the strategic sourcing of approximately 50 million $ of IT & Telecoms spend. You will support the Global Sourcing Managers and participate in and coordination of USCA & Global projects and category data gathering and analytics.

You deliver change through critical thinking. This position is based in Pittsburgh and is on site at the General Office and you will report to the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager- IT Infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

Deliver annual Cost Savings, Working Capital Improvement, and Cost Avoidance targets for managed spend. This is done through individual contribution, managing a visible pipeline, and through ensuring the implementation of USCA and Global projects.

Active support to assigned Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, IT Infrastructure for the data process, project’s preparation, execution, and any category related issues.

Ensure compliance of the procurement policy and processes for the IT & Telecoms Category.

Ensure a process that all contracts are tendered on a 3-year cycle. The process should secure all bid documentation and approvals are compliant.

Deliver accurate and competitive pricing for IT & Telecoms projects including requirements gathering, sourcing, supplier strategy development, supplier set-ups, and contract negotiations.

Establish the sourcing strategy to align with the business’s goals.

Improve supplier portfolio for the IT & Telecoms category. This should involve supplier management, management of change, and collaboration with partners.

Participate in USCA and Global team programs. Learning transfer from other countries and regions to the local organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years industry experience with at least 3 years within procurement positions (preferably IT procurement).

Understanding of the area / business environment of dedicated spend: IT & Telecoms.

Previous assignment requiring challenge of technical specifications and the need for spend.

Successfully manage commercial relationships, negotiations, contracts, and resolving issues.

Organizational experienced and able to influence and balance priorities.

Structured and able to manage change projects through teamwork.

Strong collaboration skills. Proactively seeks relationships. Hands-on and performance motivated, embrace all aspects of meeting requirements.

Able to act autonomously and with resilience in a dynamic environment.
