Job Description
A large energy client is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist. The primary duties you will be completing are listed below.
Collaborates with the supply chain team to develop and establish strategic sourcing agreements.
Negotiates and manages content in sourcing and supply chain service contracts, ensuring compliance with purchasing, legal, and risk management policies.
Supports contract activities, manages amendments, and oversees the life cycle of agreements and associated documents for compliance and performance.
Oversees technology lease agreements, managing the active lease portfolio, ensuring compliance, reporting, and processing financial commitments.
Manages the Local Service Agreement system, monitors contract compliance, finalizes approvals, and maintains system technology to streamline processes.
Supports and coordinates sourcing proposals that align with user group requirements.
Assists in developing internal policies and tools to implement strategic sourcing initiatives and prioritizes these activities.
Monitors and tracks vendor performance through periodic reviews of product and service quality.
Supports the Supply Chain team with strategic reporting tools and analytics.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in business administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field
3+ years of experience within contracts negotiations/purchasing (junior)/ 8+ years for Senior
Experience developing and managing the execution of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), negotiation strategies, reviewing, redlining, and preparing Experience with federal/government contracts
Working knowledge of third-party purchasing systems null
