This role will be a Game Changer / Future Shaper to optimize\nthe Accelerator journey across business models! As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist Principal, you will have responsibility for driving competitive commodity\nand category supply strategies to achieve CE goals for the assigned Electronics\nCOE, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source\nelimination. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You\nwill ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export\n/Import regulations. You will have responsibility for driving the CE pipeline\nin accordance to the commodity managers strategies to achieve competitive\nlowest Total Cost for specific product lines. The Director Strategic Sourcing\nECOE will establish and execute breakthrough initiatives designed to deliver\nresults in current and future market/industry conditions.
A successful candidate must be capable of translating\nobjectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a\ncompetitive advantage. Focusing on overall transformation to world-class\nend-to-end process, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement\nof superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for your\nrespective COE.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Organizational Effectiveness through efficiency improvement and functional transformation.Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with the Electronics COE.Manage and comply with sourcing & procurement processes while improving performance through an effective MO.Manage Category and Commodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends.Lead Sourcing & Procurement alignment across SBG functions, including Supplier Transitions, Value Engineering, Supplier Development and Operations.Build/maintain a robust MOS with the COE & GBE leaders to unlock project barriers.Build strong relationships with key commodity managers and internal stakeholders to create a strong pipeline.Identify strategic partners / Recognize and leverage supplier capabilities that align to business needs.Develop and drive strategies to enable supplier development and transitions in collaboration with stakeholders.Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions.Ensure Relationship development and management with key sourcing stakeholders.Align with Site Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell Businesses.Evaluate risk on manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes.Improve turnaround time for project execution.Contribute with the improvement of digital transformation for the VE/CE COE.
MUST HAVE:
10+ years of experience in Commodity Management / Procurement.Experience in developing Supply Base Management strategies with a proven record of delivering key business results.Strong negotiation and Program Management Skill’s.Strong communication & presentation skills.Data Analysis & Interpretation and Flexibility to take on Special Projects and work directly with a Global Team.WE VALUE:
