SaaS Governance - Data Analytics and AI Intern 


Join the Global Sales and Customer Success organization at Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern. Our team is responsible for SaaS Governance Execution, developing internal applications that transform existing businesses and foster innovative ideas from inception to market launch, scaling them into successful ventures. These applications and data models are built in-house using Siemens Mendix low-code capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

Understand User Value: Gain a deep understanding of the value provided to end users by existing applications through views and reports.Data Model Review: Assess the current data model and structure, suggesting modifications to make it more AI-friendly.User Interaction Enhancement: Propose improvements to reshape current user interactions.AI Use Cases: Develop new AI use cases, such as integrating prompts for user questions.Report Generation: Create reports based on user prompts and inquiries.Data Quality: Conduct AI driven data quality reviews and validations.Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Strong coding skills, database knowledge, and familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and low-code platforms.Exceptional analytical, investigative, and communication abilities.Keen interest in enhancing and refining existing applications.Understanding of corporate security, data privacy, and protection requirements.Customer-focused mindset with high standards for user and customer experience.Excellent troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in data scraping and data visualization.Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to inspire teamwork and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.Ability to work effectively in an international, diverse team.


This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the integration of secure AI technologies within our Mendix-based applications, ensuring compliance with security, data privacy, and protection guidelines.

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
