Marketing Planning Intern 


At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that is driving the future of marketing. We are looking for a marketing intern to research and define new personas for our industry marketing campaigns to engage, educate, and ultimately become customers of Siemens’ wide range of solutions. Bring your enthusiasm with customer focused, cross-functional collaboration, engagement strategies, and execution, you’ll immediately make an impact through a positive relationship with the entire industry pod as well as industry marketing, global planner, content marketing, digital platform team, and vendors. In this role: 

You think customer-first when you build digital experiences and journeys. You are dedicated to collecting customer feedback to improve the product and customer journey. You love to test, optimize, and try new tactics. You can think strategically and are willing to execute the plan. You will work with teams and partners around the globe, and you will help businesses find, adopt, expand, and renew their use of our rapidly growing Xcelerator portfolio. You will be responsible for creating the strategy and execution plan to research and find data to support developing new persona definitions based on their role in their organization, and the organizations’ size. You will gain knowledge on campaign execution and nurture-based marketing and the analytical skills to research and analyze data to build out new personas for our campaigns.  You have an entrepreneurial approach and can both independently and collaboratively conceptualize persona development and methodology. 


Key Responsibilities: 

Create creating the strategy and execution plan to research and find data to support developing new persona definitions based on their role in their organization, and the organizations’ size. Works directly with internal organization and vendors to gain valuable insight into new personas and research data to provide insight. Formulates intelligence based on data to create new persona identification for industry campaigns. Uses online project management and communication tools like Jira, Wrike, and Teams while working in an Agile environment Assembles reports to answer specific business questions using data from a variety of sources – QlikView, Eloqua, Google Analytics 360, Bombora, Google AdWords, and additional external vendors. Measures and analyzes effectiveness of project. Present performance and suggest solutions for improvement. 


Required Qualifications: 


Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at a recognized US University Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of business-to-business marketing tactics techniques, and strategies Basic analytics capabilities familiar with different data collection and measurement techniques Analytical and statistical skills Good communication skills Strong process orientation: able to analyze requests, determine scope, research options, recommend a solution, execute, and measure project success We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
