Quality Assurance Co-Op
As member of the Product Engineering Software (PES) quality organization, you will be involved ensuring the quality of our premier CAD software, NX. Students may work on validating business critical projects and prototypes for new releases. You will have the opportunity to partner with senior engineers and push the limits on our project teams to:
• Learn NX software • Learn the Software Development Lifecycle Process (SDLC) • Write and execute test specification documents to deliver projects supporting industry workflows. • Collaborate with lead application engineers, product definition team and the software development team to ensure successful project delivery • Work with customers to understand and improve our NX CAD software through customer test events and by studying customer reported issues
Organization Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • Inclination for working on quality assurance projects, including testing and automation • Prior experience working with CAD software • Experience in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Some scripting knowledge (PERL, Python, JavaScript) beneficial but not required • Passionate, self-driven and proactive • Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills • Effective organizational and time management skills • Desire to continuously improve and learn about new areas
