Resource & Referral - Program Coordinator\n
What We're Looking For:\n
We are seeking a Strategic Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) Program Coordinator that is primarily responsible for implementing the activities of the UPK project of Crystal Stairs, Inc. in partnership with the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles (CCALA). CCALA is a partnership of 10 community-based Resource and Referral (R&R) and Alternative Payment (AP) organizations working together to ensure the delivery of seamless, consistent, and quality early learning and care throughout Los Angeles County. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the UPK Liaison will be responsible for compliance with related fiscal and programmatic requirements within and between Crystal Stairs, Inc. and partner agencies and organizations. \n

The ideal candidate will also have the following responsibilities:\n\nWork with R&R Program Manager to plan, administer and monitor UPK project to ensure contract and budget compliance.\nOversee the coordination and implementation of the UPK project in accordance with Scope of Work (SOW) deliverables.\nDevelop and\/or co-develop project and meeting materials, presentations and resources as needed.\nShare information about UPK with local school districts, parents, and child care providers\/early educators via different methods including in person and virtual information sessions, phone calls, print material etc.\nCoordinate project logistics and oversee the procurement of goods and services in adherence to agency policy and procedures.\nMaintain effective communication and work closely with agency staff, collaborative partners, stakeholders, and others to ensure effective program implementation and achieve project deliverables.\nComply with contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures as well as assist in data collection and\/or analysis to evaluate and\/or enhance program operations.\nOversee the timely submission of invoices and required reports to ensure that necessary records, files, and other materials are maintained for efficient conduct of business and audit requirements.\nRepresent UPK project and agency at professional organizations, partner, and\/or community meetings\/visibility events; participate in work groups, committees, and ad hoc groups, as necessary.\nProvide direction, leadership, monitor and motivate department personnel, as necessary. \nOther duties as assigned by R&R Program Manager and\/or Senior Management.\n\n

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:\n\n\n
Bachelor of Arts\/Science degree from an accredited college or university in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related Human\/Social Services field; relevant work experience in human\/social services or child development may be substituted for college level education; Master's degree a plus.\n\n\n
Minimum of two to three years' of supervisory experience and project management experience is required. \n\n\n
Minimum of two to three years related experience in the Los Angeles child care delivery system and child care provider population including approaches, challenges, and issues. \n\n\n
Experience and ability to work with adult learners and diverse client populations. \n\n\n
Experience planning, implementing, and coordinating major projects and trainings that require collaboration with diverse groups and coordination of their interests and resources. \n\n\n

Special Requirements:\n\nMust possess a valid California driver's license, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insura \nMust successfully pass a tuberculosis screening within 90 days of employment.\nMust have up to date Covid-19 vaccination\n\n
