This is a highly visible role on our strategy team with backgrounds in consulting, investment banking, private equity, equity research, and steel. The Analyst, Strategy is curious about data, eager to learn the early stage construction landscape, has a phenomenal attention to detail, and is not afraid to seek out answers to better improve the current process.

What You'll Do Tackle the most important strategic questions for CMC, working on a broad range of topics across the business units Contribute to and drive project workstreams, including structuring problems, conducting complex analyses and research, and developing presentations Collaborate closely with your teammates to develop solutions and present recommendations to senior leaders Partner with business units and leaders across the company, including C-suite executives, to drive strategic initiatives that enhance the leadership position of CMC Conduct in-depth research and build knowledge of early-stage construction trends, emerging markets, and potential disruptors within the industry Establish yourself as a trusted thought partner What You'll Need Experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, equity research or a similar analytical role preferred Ability to structure and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations Capability to drive a workstream within the broader team project Superior written and verbal communication Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Your Education High School Diploma or GED required 4-year undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or other related field
