Strategy and Operations Lead, Mastery, GTM
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications: + MBA or graduate degree in management, technical or engineering field. + 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting (e.g., expert in Google spreadsheets, SQL). + Experience in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results. + Ability to pay attention to detail and effectively manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. + Ability to collaborate and serve as a DEI advocate who can work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. + Excellent business judgement, leadership skills and ability to communicate with and influence both executives level and sales/enablement teams. As a Strategy and Operations Principal Lead, you will help drive the organization forward through key strategic initiatives and stay focused on aligning company priorities with day to day operations. You will be a critical thought leader and catalyst for activation and change management, collaborating with leadership across the org to streamline internal processes, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and ultimately improve operating expertise across the Mastery team. You will use your exceptional problem-solving skills to derive insights from complex data and inform decision making. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will help you develop plans and recommendations that influence the actions of the Mastery team, internal and external audiences and senior leadership. In addition, you will rely heavily on your execution skills and tenacity to drive the implementation of strategic projects. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Define, prioritize, structure and execute strategic and operational initiatives which includes developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses and developing and implementing recommendations. + Drive operational excellence for the organization, including optimizing resource allocation, measuring/reporting progress against key objectives and managing business updates/quarterly reviews. + Deliver on complex initiatives that are foundational elements to the Mastery team achieving its learning and business objectives (e.g., process standardization and optimization, measurement strategy, talent strategy, etc.). + Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement; influence executive stakeholders to implement suggested improvements. + Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including executives.
