What You Will Do:
The Managing Consultant will manage a team of 5 to 10 team members to provide strategic insights and operational support within a flexible, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supporting the implementation of enterprise change-initiatives to include redesigning the processes and tools to support human capital functions across a 20,000+ employee federal agency.

Creating and managing change management and communication plans related to the transformation initiatives.

Support the facilitation of stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings on topics such as organizational strategy, process optimization, and governance.

Support team efforts to address organizational challenges, streamline operations, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Prepare clear, well-documented findings and recommendations for client implementation.

Support the preparation of reports by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data to communicate key findings and insights. 

Lead and develop team members in transformation, strategic communications, and change management disciplines.

Build client relationships and gain executive level buy-in for various initiatives.


What You Will Need:

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust

Bachelor’s Degree

TEN (10) or more years of experience in consulting, strategy, or related fields

FIVE (5) or more years of experience managing and leading teams


What Would Be Nice To Have:

A background in federal human resources, strategy, or enterprise level transformation initiatives

Experience working within DHS

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
