Strategy Associate
**In this position…** Launched during summer 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Ford’s retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicle like never before, with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact with them, and the value those vehicles provide. As a Strategy Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of connected services and products within Integrated Services. Reporting to the Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, you will be conduct thorough market analyses, benchmark competitors, develop strategic insights and recommendations, and facilitate the execution of initiatives that support our long-term business goals. The Strategy Associate will work closely with the Strategy Manager as part of a small, agile team tasked with the definition, development, and implementation of the strategic vision for a portfolio of products within Integrated Services to create stable and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate must be relentlessly curious and possess a desire to understand and anticipate strategic opportunities and threats to Ford, emergent trends, and customer psychology and behavior. **What you'll do…** + Help define strategic vision for connected service and products within Integrated Service’s portfolio + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine strategic plans that align with the defined strategic vision and objectives + Conduct comprehensive industry, market, and competitive analyses to identify key trends and opportunities for growth within the world’s digital environment + Synthesize strategic insights from multiple (and at times seemingly divergent) data sources and create compelling narratives to gain executive leadership buy-in + Serve as a thought leader within the organization, staying abreast of industry developments and best practices in strategy formulation and execution + Driving special strategy projects that assess and deliver the greatest enterprise value **You'll have...** + Bachelor’s Degree + 2+ years’ experience in a strategy, brand management or strategic finance related role. + Proficiency with PowerPoint / Excel + Experience creating executive-level presentations that clearly communicate insights following the pyramid principle (or other applicable frameworks) + Empathy for customers and strong understanding of personal biases + Desired behaviors: + Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated / -starter, collaborative + Able to work across cultures and partnering with global teams + Ability to seek out and build relationships across teams + Strategic thinking skills (critical thinking / data analytics / business acumen) + Experience cultivating information and data from a variety of sources and synthesizing into a cohesive story **Even better, you may have…** + Master of Business Administration + Experience in software, media, gaming, entertainment, telecommunications, or automotive industries + Comfort working in whitespace; Familiar with management consulting structured problem-solving frameworks, including "Where to Play / How to Win" concepts + Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods + Knowledge of market trends, and strong interest in emerging trends _You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!_ As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
