Strategy & Capture Manager Job Category: Business Development and Marketing Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * CACI is looking for a Capture Manager with a winning track record to play a critical role on the Optical & Photonic Systems (OPS) Capture team supporting our Spectrum Superiority Line of Business (LoB). The OPS mission is to provide optical communications, optical signal processing and optical sensing solutions to our USG customer base. You will partner across the enterprise with our LoB President, Operations Group Leaders, Business Development Managers, Proposal teams, Senior Solution Architects, Pricing Strategists, Client Executives, and many other CACI Business Support organizations and individuals. You will be based in Florham Park, NJ and will travel occasionally to other CACI offices or customer sites. **What You’ll Get to Do:** • Plan, organize, and manage captures primarily within the domains of optical comms, optical sensing and optical signal processing. • Lead major and minor capture efforts (those greater than $25M to those less than <$5M) to successful completion. • Develop the overall capture strategy, internal and external partnerships, business plans and marketing. • Lead and facilitate win strategy development sessions including technical, management, teaming, past performance, staffing, pricing, Return on Investment (ROI), etc. • Lead the development of customer profiles, including customer needs, issues, interests, and biases • Lead and coordinate competitive assessments, determining the strengths and weaknesses of CACI and potential competitors. • Collaborate with Operations Group Leaders, Solution Architects and SMEs to develop solutions that offer customers recognized value, are price competitive, executable and will be evaluated favorably. • Prepare and lead Milestone Reviews to the LoB President, and other reviews as required once opportunity has been assigned. • Develop B&P spend plans and manage all associated expenses within budget for the capture effort. • Present at the monthly Business Review. • Lead weekly pursuit review meeting. • Manage capture personnel, coordinate with responsible lines/accounts, align resources required for the pursuit of opportunities, develop and improve upon processes, report metrics/manage risk and effectively lead growth within the business. **You’ll Bring These Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, one of the Sciences, or related field. • 7+ years of Capture/proposal/or New Business Development (NBD) experience • Proven experience winning work with Army, Navy, Air Force and other DoD customers as well as other Prime Government contractors. • Experience bidding and winning deals from a capture/proposal/ or NBD role. • The candidate must be aggressive, organized, knowledgeable in government contracting, highly skilled professional with excellent leaderships and presentation skills. • Strong proposal organization and writing skills. • Secret or above clearance **You Also Bring These Professional Skills:** • Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions. • A proven track record of successful capture/proposal or NBD management across USG customer organizations at a variety of acquisition sizes and types. • Experience Capturing/proposing deals requiring development of a technical solution and or an approach. • Financial acumen. • Experience and understanding of pricing and pricing strategies across multiple contract types. • Experience managing and incorporating BOE’s into the capture process. • Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish collaborative relationships with Solution Architects, Line management, and within the Strategic Capture Group and across CACI. • Excellent oral and written communications and experience briefing senior corporate executives and customers.
