Strategy Director

Duties &Responsibilities: 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: 

Develop and implement a targeted market and industry research strategy for the enterprise. Identify and monitor major industry and market trends and emerging technologies impacting the logistics landscape. Collect and analyze market and industry data from various sources, including internal research/data, industry reports, analysts and market research Conduct in-depth analyses to surface major trends around market share shifts Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology & product, commercial strategy, finance & marketing to integrate market/industry research and insights into strategic planning. Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and industry experts to enhance intelligence-gathering efforts. Leverage internal analytics, data science and finance teams to inform analyses Provide thought leadership to internal teams on market and industry research methodologies and best practices. Support strategic planning processes by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on market/industry research and trends Identify and recommend targeted opportunities for portfolio focus and growth  Contribute to the development of long-term strategic goals and objectives  

Required Qualifications:  

10+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, strategy or related field of work Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely Proven track record of developing and executing market and industry research to inform strategies Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in the [specific industry or sector relevant to the company]. Familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Knowledge of global logistics and supply chain trends, challenges, and opportunities. Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
