The Strategy Execution Senior Specialist role provides a rare opportunity to work closely with Sector senior leadership across Service Lines and functions to:

 

Shape the Global Sector strategy and drive its implementation Build relationships internally and externally and grow the reputation of the Sector Play a central role in developing and activating sector solutions  Drive connectivity and activation of our strategy in our markets

The opportunity


The Strategy Execution Senior Specialist sits in Markets and works with the Global Sector Leader and the Strategy Execution Lead to drive the execution/delivery of strategic priorities and key market-impact initiatives.  This position will also help to drive Industry Market-level activities as required, i.e. activities that are cross-sector. 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

 Maximizing market impact through execution of the Industry Market and Sector strategies, working in tandem with the Strategy Execution Lead to ensure alignment to overarching Global Industry priorities. Supporting the Strategy Execution Lead in executing on an integrated Go-To-Market plan, overcoming Sector silos to provide visibility across the Industry Market Group. For example: Help Regions drive sector maturity by sharing leading practices Identify and get out in front of market trends, client issues and revenue opportunities, educating Sector partners and Regions/Sector Market Segments on sector strategy and solutions to drive proactive client conversations. Support Industry Market/Sector solution development with Industry Market and Sector leadership, Service Line Sector Leaders and solution leaders. Identify new areas of industry convergence, value and growth opportunities for EY and clients. Flagship events – lead and be a visible contributor to both planning, account connection and on-the-day content for key flagship sector events.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Experience in senior strategic and/or analyst roles (Associate Director level), either client-facing inside or outside EY, or internal roles responsible for driving strategy development and/or project execution supporting senior leadership. Relevant strong Sector knowledge

 

To Qualify for this role, you must have

 

Demonstrable project management skills and ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Understanding of Industry Market/Sector key business issues, market trends and financial drivers Strong executive facilitation skills related to strategy development and problem solving.  Exceptional written and oral communications skills on a global basis (including presentations), as well as listening and interpretation skills.  Willingness to go out of your comfort zone to break new grounds and explore part of your Industry Market with which you are not most familiar 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

A keen appetite for technology and innovation Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills

Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s  We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $200,000 to $385,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $240,000 to $437,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
