Job Description

This is an exciting role within our A/NZ business, supporting strategy planning, investment case development and supporting the growth and governance of key strategic partnerships for our A/NZ business. The role will report directly to the Head of Strategy, Commercial and Partnerships, A/NZ and will work closely with the A/NZ Senior Leadership Team, particularly the Business Unit Managing Directors. This role requires a visionary and highly self-motivated individual who can influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Our strategic initiatives are critical to the long-term sustainable performance of our business.

 

What you’ll need to bring to the party

Confidence and strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across legal, compliance, product management and sales to ensure all parties are aware of regulatory and operational impacts of strategic initiative.Excellent presentation and communication skills to drive thought leadership across the business and increase awareness of the impacts to our business of regulatory change.Creative thinking and a can-do attitude to propose ways to work within regulatory and operational boundaries while meeting clients’ needs and enabling innovative solutions.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BU product teams, sales, marketing, and regional and global teams.

 

What you’ll be doing

Support the development of 5-year Strategic Plan: Drafting plan, coordinating with regional strategy team and ANZ leadership team, and preparing draft plan presentations.Support the growth and financial value of long-term key strategic partnerships, through governance and processes that enable partnering with CEO and MDs.Support A/NZ Partner Strategy: Monitor and evaluate partnerships across Experian A/NZ for alignment to policy and minimum standards and provide advice and support to BU’s as needed.M&A pipeline reporting: Identification of potential targets and drafting of investment cases. Coordination with EMAP Corporate Development Team.Market assessment and investment case development: Assist BU teams with market assessments and build of investment cases for equity investment and/or acquisitionInnovation ideation: Support the A/NZ business to drive combined-BU innovation proposals. Provide central coordination for Experian’s Global Innovation program and hackathons, identify areas of opportunity required for legislative & market changes.Identifying areas of opportunity for global solution adoption: Support the BU’s to connect and engage with Global Scale & Regional Strategy teams to deliver growth opportunities leveraging Experian’s global strength.

Approximately 5 years’ experience consulting for either data, marketing or consumer-related technology solutions in a commercial environment, finance or commercial rolesYou’ll need to be a self-starter with a keen interest in data and applicable regulationGrowth mindset, curious and eager to influence our strategic direction and solution focusDegree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
