The Strategy lead will be the leader responsible for the design and execution of a long-term strategy for Goldin. This includes leaning in to lead existing strategic initiatives and working hands-on to identify and lead net new investment activities.

What you will accomplish:

Responsible for driving the development of a data-driven long-term vision and strategy for GoldinAnalyzes/models projects and develops presentation materials for leadership approval of strategy with grounded justificationDevelops materials that effectively communicate insights and recommendationsEnsures the objectives are aligned with the critical initiatives of the business by working with key partners in the businessOwns, drives and manages a planning process for resourcing and delivery of long-term vision and strategyPlans and co-ordinates the roadmap and capabilities to achieve the long-term vision and strategyManages the roadmap and stays on top of key dates as well as their movementDelivers process design for special projects as they ariseSupports go-to-market and project management as neededBuilds credibility with business partners to gain support for analysis and recommendations

What you will bring:

Passion for developing strategies for a two-sided online retailerPassion for the Hobby with a keen focus on monitoring and designing leading customer-first digital experiencesAbility to build out cases for executive approval by working with internal stakeholders, and developing business case from research and financial evaluationFinance exposure and P&L management a plusAbility to analyze data and develop initiatives to create compelling and grounded strategic proposalsBring order to ambiguous situations, taking on challenges with high visibility, and bringing others on the journeyUntangling sophisticated processes, crafting strategic roadmaps, and telling compelling storiesExecutive-level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tell a compelling story backed by dataHigh degree of ownership, strong project management skills, and dedication to resultsOrganized problem solver who balances attention to detail with efficiency Outstanding attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulnessProven track record to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloadShifts from detailed analysis to big picture strategy comfortably

Qualification Preferences:

10+ years of experience in an online marketplace, digital platform, or related e-commerce business 5+ years in a collectibles or trading cards related business preferred  5+ years of experience in Management Consulting, M&A or strategic partnerships capacity preferredBA/BS required, MBA or similar graduate degree preferred
