JOB SUMMARY
This job supports the leadership of Highmark, or its affiliates, with a range of strategy activities essential to Government Market Growth in support of Medicaid membership and margin goals. Strategy Partners provide analytical/strategic-thinking and leadership support to identify and assess growth opportunities: (1) monitor industry policies, trends and opportunity timelines, (2) assess strategic fit for Highmark, (2) prioritize potential opportunities and (4) support development of business cases to facilitate decision to move forward with opportunities. Strategy Partners enable growth initiatives and market/partnership development:; 1) design and execute analytics for studying growth opportunities (market research, scenario planning, forecasting, market share, profitability, etc.); 2) develop technical content (competitive intelligence, market trend analysis); 3) develop formal recommendations to Senior Levels leadership; 4) create document components (go-to-market or operational strategies, etc.) that inform critical strategic issues and decisions, (5) develop partnership terms and support contract negotiations, (6) Support development and execution of market entry strategy.
The Strategy Partner plays different potential roles on a given project, to include elements of project leadership, problem-solving, data analytics, team leadership and development, communication, implementation, and project management. The incumbent often plays a central role in the development and execution of the strategy for a given initiative. Works on multiple projects and get exposure to all parts of the Organization, and will play a supportive role in planning, communicating, and managing the enterprise strategy.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead or support key strategic initiatives across Enterprise. Role will vary depending on initiative, but will include elements of team leadership, problem-solving, data analysis, project management, communication, and implementation support. Will participate on a portfolio of projects.Participate in the development of strategic plans for the Enterprise and the key BU's of Enterprise.Support the team in identifying, clarifying, and resolving complex issues critical to the success of the initiative.Support the identification of initiative impacts with other strategic initiatives to ensure alignment of the overall strategy.Help develop standard analytics and processes to use in leading various strategic initiatives.Play a role in shaping the culture and skill set of the STO.Other duties as assigned or requested.EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Business, or related field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
