We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

We are looking for a motivated and strategic professional to join our Cross-Border Trade (CBT) team. In this role, you will help define our global CBT strategy and lead high-impact programs that align cross-border initiatives with the company’s broader business goals. You will drive strategic initiatives and oversee program management across cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in expanding our global cross-border payments footprint.

In your day-to-day role you will:

Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights on cross-border topics through rigorous market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking. Drive the development of strategic business cases, identifying high-impact initiatives and defining clear objectives that align with evolving market trends and business priorities. Lead analyses to evaluate opportunities, shape go-to-market strategies, and define actionable initiatives that support long-term growth and profitability.

Cross-Functional Engagement: Partner closely with product, marketing, finance, commercial, and risk teams to align cross-border initiatives with broader business strategies, fostering strong relationships that drive program success. Act as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams and senior leadership, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and opportunities, and solicit input to create a unified approach to project execution.

Program Management: Lead and manage multiple cross-functional projects with integrated milestone tracking and performance monitoring to ensure objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Build detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively managing resource allocation, identifying risks, and resolving bottlenecks. Track and evaluate OKRs and other critical success metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals. Foster accountability across teams with clear checkpoints and milestones, adapting plans based on performance insights and feedback for continuous improvement.

Executive Reporting: Deliver high-quality, strategic reporting to senior management and C-level executives, providing in-depth insights into program progress, key accomplishments, and challenges. Present actionable recommendations for course corrections, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals while enabling leadership to make informed decisions for strategic success.

What do you need to bring:

Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with a proven track record of driving global growth initiatives.

Proven experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives, navigating technical, operational, legal, and business challenges.

Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects from ideation to execution, utilizing project management and agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of business outcomes.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders and present compelling recommendations to C-level executives.

Able to navigate ambiguity while developing solutions that drive effective results.

Desired Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience in strategy roles (management consultant, corporate strategy & operations roles) in MBB and program management roles in fast-paced, matrixed organizations in a regional or global capacity.

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

Experience in the financial services or digital payments industries is highly desirable.
