KRON4, the Bay Area's local news station, is looking for a Streaming and Weekend Executive Producer. This position oversees KRON4's weekend evening newscasts and will play a key role in overseeing KRON4's digital streaming newscasts and programming. We're looking for a hands-on, creative EP, who can not only lead but produce and edit as well.  The Executive Producer will work out of our San Francisco studio on the Embarcadero.

This will be a regular, full-time management, non-union, exempt position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee KRON4 Weekend Evening NewsCreate and produce programming for KRON4's digital streaming channelMake coverage decisions on breaking news and reporter assignmentsPlan weekend coverage and streaming coverageApprove scripts, video and graphicsLine produce as neededEdit video for stories and teases using desktop editing systemCommunicate with other producers, assignment editors, directorsCommunicate clearly with control room staff and anchorsWork with other EP's to identify and execute broadcast/streaming cross promotion opportunitiesManagement reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 – 5 years of experience producing compelling newscasts in a medium to major marketCollege degree or equivalent in journalism/communications or broadcasting preferredMust be a self-starter, hard worker, have a great attitude, and be versatile and efficient

Compensation:  $90,000+ to commensurate with experience
