Operate automatic strip fed press, lugger, compo machine and ovenLoad strips into the magazine of pressResponsible for quality of productionInspect caps visually with test blocks. Inspect caps using automatic gauging equipment and enter date into SPC systemRemove full cartons of caps from underneath counterPosition empty cartons on conveyorSeal and stack full cartons on skidsFill out labels for finished boxesMonitor and make adjustments to cap height, lug length, plastisol thickness as necessaryRemove jamsMonitor AVI rejects and determine responsibility of defective product. Notify supervisor of findings.Grease and oil machinesOccasionally assist the mechanic as neededKeep assigned work area neat and cleanRelieve as required
