Lead Structural Analysis Engineer – Aerospace Industry | Huntsville, AL

Pay: $85.42 - $95.99/hr | Full-Time | 1-Year Contract (Extension Possible) | Onsite

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join a leading aerospace program in Huntsville, AL. In this critical role, you will take the lead in structural analysis, product design, and certification efforts, ensuring the integrity and performance of aerospace systems.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system designs. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to define the product environment. Guide product design and structural verification using analytical methods, FEM simulations, and advanced analysis tools. Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Investigate in-service product failures, recommend structural improvements, and enhance development processes. Work under minimal direction, driving innovation and efficiency in structural analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications: This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.   Extensive experience in structural analysis, finite element modeling (FEM), and aircraft stress analysis. Strong background in primary aircraft structure analysis and integrated design. Ability to work onsite, full-time (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM). Preferred Qualifications: Aerospace experience (both structures and tools). Deep expertise in aerospace engineering with experience in commercial and military aircraft applications. Pay Details: $85.42 to $95.99 per hour
