**Aircraft Structural Assembly: North Charleston, South Carolina** **Job Description** + We are seeking Aircraft Assembly Structures Mechanics to support various production areas across different airplane programs. + This role involves working in a manufacturing assembly environment, utilizing training and certification knowledge to complete assigned tasks. + Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, reading work instructions, and identifying necessary tools, parts, and equipment to ensure defect-free work. **Responsibilities** + Set up and validate jigs and other tooling setups. + Perform close tolerance drilling and installations in critical aircraft structural areas. + Utilize various fastener removal tools and techniques. + Work with CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), aluminum, and titanium structural materials, including drilling, sanding, and fastening. + Use various structural assembly hand tools and air tools. + Inspect work quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Charleston,SC. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 14, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
