Structural CAD Drafter/ Designer Bridge
What You Will Do:

 

Our Toronto, ON office is currently seeking an experienced Structural CADD Drafter / Designer to support our bridge projects. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently on the development of structural design packages from concept to final design.

Responsibilities:

Assists design team in creating plans from concept through final construction drawingsCreates base drawings using survey information and CADD program(s)Verifies accuracy of drawingsMaintains project libraries and CADD standardPerforms general administrative assistance by maintaining project plansProvides leadership and directs junior staffPrepares detail and quantity calculationsPrepares geometry calculations Development of project and presentation graphicsEducation | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required8-12 years’ experience working as a drafter/designer on bridge projects using Microstation, and AutoCAD.Knowledge of key client CAD StandardsAbility to work in AutoCAD and Microstation Knowledge in 3D / BIM and modeling an assetPrefer detail-oriented candidates with strong skills in plan and detail development for transportation structures.Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills and team player.Performs general administrative assistance by maintaining project plansDevelopment of project and presentation graphicsGIS experience considered an assetCompany Overview:
