In the role of Structural/Civil Section Lead, we'll count on you to:

Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing supportFunction as Project Manager and take responsbility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilitiesTake administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sectionsBe involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviewsBe directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issuesSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor and support company policySelect, train, develop and manage technical personnelManage and develop multidiscipline teamsWork cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production effortsPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

BS degree in Civil, Structural or related engineering field.A minimum of 10 years experiencePE or SE RequiredStrong communication and listening skillsAbility to handle multiple assignmentsGood leadership and organizational skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the management and development of structural/civil systems is preferred.Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmCandidates who reside locally in the NY/NJ area are preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits. Range in New York City is $140,788-$201,125 annually.
