Volt is immediately hiring a Structural Design Engineer with a PE license for a company in Annville, PA. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The Structural Design Engineer will use engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services and models for customers. The Engineering department provides safe, creative, quality and “in place cost efficient” structural and construction engineering solutions for internal customers (e.g. manufacturing, project management and field erection) as well as external customers with superior customer service.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The Structural Design Engineer's primary duties and responsibilities includes:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvides well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer’s requirements\r\n\tAssures building’s structural integrity and safety\r\n\tDevelops own basic product and procedure knowledge and improve technical knowledge\r\n\tFocuses on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work team\r\n\tAssures customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules\r\n\tCollaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient manner\r\n\tProvides technical assistance to customers on specific projects as well as to new entry level Designers\r\n\tDevelops structural quotes\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

QUALIFICATIONS:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineer or equivalent with a structural emphasis.\r\n\tProfessional Engineering registration in any state is required.\r\n\tMust have at least 5+ years of experience designing and/or managing structural steel building projects.\r\n\tMust have 5+ years of pre-engineered building (PEB) experience.\r\n\tSolid knowledge of building codes and specifications.\r\n\tCompetent knowledge of company product and design procedures.\r\n\tCompetent in company systems and applications.\r\n\tExperience in any of the following programs: STAAD, RISA, RAM, SAP 2000, Revit, Tekla, or AutoCAD.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Salary: $100,000 – $112,000/yearly *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
