Job Title: Structural Design Engineer Pay rate - $58 - $80/hour Job Description:  Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.    Responsibilities:     • Conduct construction document reviews as required.    • Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.    • Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.    • Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required.    • Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.    Education and Experience:     • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.  Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $195000.00 Travel: There is travel pay at an hourly rate is from when the plane doors close to when they open to 8/hours on their travel days. There is per diem for food and lodging through GSA (Government per diem). $68/day for food (true per diem you get it whether you use it or not.) $110/day for lodging (Example, they need to stay in a hotel to get this per diem NOT an air b&b etc. If the hotel costs $120/day they pay the $10 difference.) This is all on top of their base hourly rate.Plane tickets, car rental, hotel, uber/taxi will be reimbursed the following month typically within the first week.
