Summary: Structural/Civil Design Engineer needed for crane and building structure design, analysis, and project management using FEA software.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Experience with FEA software and Creo preferred

Knowledge of structural load calculations for beams, runways, wheel loads, crane loads, etc.

Ability to perform design and analysis calculations for crane supporting structures

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred Skills:

Project management experience

Technical knowledge in Overhead Cranes, Bridge Design or Structural Steel Buildings

Responsibilities:

Perform calculations for design and analysis of crane structures and related components

Ensure compliance with design specifications and maintain detailed records

Work closely with sales team on proposals

Manage projects from inception to completion

Supervise subcontractors and technicians on project work

Plan and oversee material orders and delivery schedules

Meet project deadlines and budgets according to customer requirements

Interpret data accurately for project needs

Follow safety policies of Simmers Crane Design & Services, OSHA standards, and clients' safety protocols

Prepare documentation such as invoicing and project closeouts efficiently

Multitask across various projects simultaneously

Respond quickly to problem-solve under stress

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
