Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Job Description
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and programs. You will oversee all aspects of these projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress. You will prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the projects and programs. This role requires a bachelor's degree in structural design and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. You will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of tasks, and lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and complete projects and programs.
+ Oversee all aspects of projects and programs.
+ Set deadlines and assign responsibilities.
+ Monitor and summarize the progress of projects and programs.
+ Prepare reports for upper management regarding project and program status.
+ Lead and direct the work of others.
+ Perform a variety of tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in structural design.
+ At least 7 years of experience in structural design or a related area.
+ Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
+ Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Commercial Structural Design.
+ Creativity and latitude in performing tasks.
Work Environment
This is a remote position. You will typically report to a manager or head of a unit/department. The work environment expects you to use your creativity and judgment extensively to perform tasks and lead others.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.75 - $81.25/hr.
