Structural Designer

Description

Develop detailed structural designs and plans.Be responsible for preparation of general arrangements, structural design drawings and sketches utilizing 2D or 3D modeling software. Collaborate with other discipline designers and engineers as well as shop and construction teams.Communicates regularly with project team to convey technical information, identify problems, and develop solutions that achieve project objectives in a timely manner. Participate in project meetings and reviews.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•      Associate’s degree or minimum of 4 years’ experience in a related field with similar duties preferred.  Candidates without a degree, but with relevant experience, will also be considered.

•      Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD.

•      Knowledge of TEKLA strongly preferred.

•      Knowledge of Plant 3D desirable.

•      Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

•      Strong communication skills, with ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $43.27
