Structural Designer

Location: Bedminster, NJ
We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer with over 5 years of experience in drafting and producing structural drawings. You will take the lead from design engineers to create detailed drawings for the fabrication of structures, typically working on one project at a time. You will be involved in projects such as building process plants, chemical plants, and cold boxes, which include extensive structural steel work for pipe racks and support structures.
What you'll be responsible for:
Confidently creating structural drawings based on design engineer's input.Producing detailed drafting and marking up existing schematics for piping and racking systems.Turning documents from engineers into comprehensive drawings.Working on projects involving structural steel for pipe racks, support structures, cold boxes, and distillation towers.Performing stress analysis and computational work.Ensuring drawings adhere to building codes, including those for foreign countries.What you'll need:
5+ years of experience in structural piping design.Proficiency in CADWorks or AutoCAD.Experience in plant design, piping design, and steel structural design.Familiarity with industrial and process engineering.Experience with building codes in foreign countries is a plus.What to expect:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
