Hire Resolve is assisting a leading engineering firm in Cape Town with the search for a talented Structural Draughtsman. In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed structural drawings and plans that reflect the specifications outlined by engineers and architects.

As a Structural Draughtsman, you will work with the design team to prepare accurate drawings that support the construction process and ensure the structural integrity of projects.

 

Key Responsibilities: Create and modify detailed structural drawings in accordance with project specifications Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy in designs Perform quality control checks on drawings to maintain high standards of detail and precision Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and building codes Manage the drawing library and documentation effectively Stay updated with advancements in drafting technology and software

Requirements: 

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsman in the construction or engineering field Proficient in Revit and other relevant drafting software Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred Strong knowledge of structural design principles and local building codes Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
