We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Dynamics Engineer to join our team with Teammate company, Mb Solutions Inc.\n

This position will be performing structural dynamic analysis on spacecraft in multiple NASA human spaceflight programs.\n

This includes Orion, Gateway, Human Landing System, Commercial Crew Program, and others. The position will require\n

the following skills, knowledge, and abilities:\n

- Perform detailed finite element modeling and coupled loads analysis\n

- Perform analyses using commercial and in-house codes as well as write new simulation scripts\n

- Perform modal analysis on component Finite Element Analysis models in preparation for modal tests\n

- Identify critical modes for a component or system\n

- Review and process modal and structural data (analytical and test)\n

- Develop test plans and procedures, documenting test results\n

- Perform other duties as required\n

Qualifications:\n

- Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field or in a related area\n

- Familiarity with desktop software applications, MS Office is required\n

- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills\n

- Finite element modeling experience\n

- Experience with Python, MATLAB, and\/or C\/C++\n

Requisition Preferences:\n

- BS or MS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering\n

- Experience using NASTRAN with FEMAP as a pre\/post-processor\n

- Experience with Component Mode Synthesis and Craig Bampton model reductions\n

- Experience performing multi-body and dynamic contact analysis (e.g. LS-DYNA or Adams)\n

- Experience customizing analysis processes through scripting and software development\n

- Familiarity with version control methods using GitLab or GitHub\n

- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C\/C++
