Job Title: Structural EITJob Description This position involves working with a large architectural and engineering service firm. You will be responsible for creating complete structural design packets. This role includes taking the initial intake of a prototype packet from owners, utilizing Revit for structural design, and performing your own load calculations. Additionally, you will communicate with owners for concept reviews, feasibility studies, project updates, and construction documentation. Responsibilities + Create complete structural design packets using Revit. + Perform load calculations independently. + Communicate with owners for concept reviews, feasibility studies, project updates, and construction documentation. + Design structural elements for commercial or multi-story buildings from concept to completion. + Work on slabs, foundations, or pier anchoring systems. Essential Skills + 0-5 years of Structural Engineering experience. + Proficiency in Revit. + Experience in structural design from concept to completion. + Experience with load calculations and steel structure design. + Experience with tenant improvement projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 5 years of design experience in structural engineering. + Experience with bridge design. + Proficiency in MS Suite and Bluebeam. + Licensed PE or SE. + Ability to design a complete design packet for structural design. + Master's degree in structural engineering. + BSME degree (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering). Work Environment The team consists of about 15 people across Montana, Utah, and Austin, TX, with the majority based in Montana. There are also team members in Austin and Denver. The company supports a work-from-home environment and has multiple field offices throughout the country to provide in-person options as well. The company has experienced significant growth and supports multiple markets, allowing engineers to diversify their talents. The team is looking to expand in a virtual environment, allowing employees to work from anywhere in the country.
