Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in design and construction of concrete and steel tankage, masonry buildings, concrete structures, steel frame structures (ie walkways, stairs, pipe supports, etc.), with expertise in water and wastewater treatment facilities. This position will also be required to provide structural engineering consistent with the long term goal of supporting ASME services for a broader range of projects.

Responsibilities:

The functions of the position include developing the basis of design, coordination of structural elements in support of process design, directing the design team for preparation of drawings and specifications, as well as support of construction phase servicesPerform structural engineering design and analysis for identified systems under the close supervision of a lead engineerParticipate in project related meetings to coordinate activities and communicate designsAssist with preparation of engineering deliverablesParticipate in field surveys, condition assessments and site investigationsPerform construction administration related tasks including submittal review, responding to RFI’s and observation of construction related activitiesQualifications:Master's degree in Structural EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience, ideally looking for a 15+ year EngineerExperience must be within the vertical, buildings sector (not horizontal/bridge)SE preferred; open to candidates with SITExpertise in reinforced concrete and steel designExperience in soils and foundation designExperience in temporary structures and formworkExperience in masonry and wood framingExperience includes post-graduate experience within US standardThis does NOT include internship experienceMust be local- this role is onsiteMust have valid work authorization
