Structural Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in structural engineering for industrial facilities to support project design, business development, and client relations.

Job Requirements:

BS in Engineering

PE license in Nebraska or reciprocal state with willingness to obtain Nebraska PE

10-15 years of relevant experience

Experience with heavy industrial products (steel, concrete, metal structures)

Open to supporting business development

Preferred Skills:

Experience in ag plant, biofuel plant, food and beverage facility

Job Responsibilities:

Understand technical requirements and assess engineering effort for projects

Independently evaluate and apply engineering methods to design/modify industrial facilities

Guide designers in 3D modeling for safe and effective designs

Provide material take-offs and assist in estimating project feasibility

Cultivate relationships with customers through service and responsiveness

Assist with business development and generating new customer opportunities

Provide value engineering to compete for industry growth



Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
