Job DescriptionWill be reporting to the Senior PM and Principal on projectsCollaborate with geotechnical, architectural and MEP project members to complete projectWill develop structural design calculations, structural analysis/research, specifications and structural drawingsApply ACI, AISC and IBC building codes, PCI & PTI Design Guidelines to the design of foundations, superstructures, and related building componentsMay assist with site visits with reviewing testing/inspection/field reportsWill be working with Lead Structural Engineer to provide structural research/analysis reports

Qualifications Bachelor of Civil Engineering, or equivalent, is required; Master's Degree is a plusMust have EIT certification and on track towards PE5 or more years of post-graduation structural experiencePost-graduate experience working within building systems with architectural/engineering firmsExperience must be within US standardsExperience working on commercial, healthcare, industrial and/or utilities projectsProficiency in Revit and basic understanding of AutoCADKnowledge of ACI, AISC and IBC building codes, PCI & PTI Design Guidelines Experience/knowledge of the structural design of concrete including precast, conventional and post-tensioned cast-in-place, structural steel and masonry Experience with wind/seismic analysis, spread footing, and deep and shallow retention wallsMust be localAbout Actalent
