Our client is one of the fastest growing Engineering companies in New York with a strong back log of work for the next five years. They are a leading engineering firm specializing in complex transportation infrastructure projects. Our Team is seeking an experienced Sr. Structural Engineer to lead MTA and Amtrak projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, durability and efficiency.

Description:

- Sr. Structural Engineer working on primarily MTA and Amtrak projects such as Broadway junction in Brooklyn and ADA upgrades throughout the region

- 10+ years experience doing design work. Must be more into the details and more technical than a PM

- Supervising drafting and drawing development. Don't need drafting or drawing experience

- Modeling software - STAAD PRO, but open to any analysis software

- Will mentor and manage 2 other junior engineers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Familiarity with MicroStation (Drawings will be done in MicroStation but they do not need to use the software)

- 5+ years experience with MTA projects

- Large backlog of work in NY office with more coming in.

- In aggressive growth mode
