Job Description
As a Project Designer, you will be responsible for providing project design and detailing, including hand sketches, 2D CAD production, calculations, specifications, and estimates, with moderate direction from senior staff. Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing structural analysis for both lateral (wind and seismic) and gravity systems for buildings made of steel, concrete, wood, or masonry.Producing comprehensive building and/or component calculations tailored to the project type and jurisdiction.Providing project design (e.g., drawing, detailing, specifications, calculations, processing, plans, estimates) under the direction of a senior staff member.Producing accurate CAD work that meets appearance and CAD standards.Meeting budgets and deadlines.Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.3+ years of experience, with knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and trends.E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) with the intent to obtain a P.E. (Professional Engineer) License.Open to remote work, with experience in California due to timber, wood, and seismic requirements.Experience with building materials such as timber, steel, and concrete.DSA experience and K-12 project experience are nice to have.Revit experience is not necessary but is a plus.Experience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00
