Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to work with a team in Des Plaines, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design, drafting in AutoCAD, and developing construction documents. You will work on a diverse range of projects including building design, forensic engineering, and restoration. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and engage with a variety of project types such as industrial, commercial, residential, and religious buildings.

ResponsibilitiesComplete structural designs and drawings in AutoCADDevelop construction documentsMeet with clients as neededConduct site visits for local projectsWork on drawings, floor plans, and pick up red linesMore responsibilities provided for more experienced candidates Essential Skills3-5+ years of experience in structural engineeringProficiency in AutoCAD3 years of drafting experienceExperience in structural design, structural analysis, and construction documentsKnowledge of working with concrete, steel, and wood materials
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00
