Structural Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Structural Engineer with expertise in the design, analysis, and documentation of aerodynamic structures and mechanical systems.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering

4-6 years of experience in aerospace/design and analysis (structures & stress analysis)

Proficiency in FEMAP/NASTRAN for analysis

Experience with aircraft modifications and FEA analysis

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance

Preferred Skills:

Collaborative effort with Designers using SolidWorks

Responsibilities:

Engineer design, analyze, and document aerodynamic structures and mechanical systems/sub-assemblies

Provide manufacturing support to fabricator and installation/operations team

Develop and approve structural substantiation reports using empirical stress analysis, FEA, CFD as necessary to support/validate design

Provide oversight and content to design/drafting operators

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports



Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
