Job Title: Structural Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team working on heavy industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for conducting engineering studies and analyses, and providing consulting services to clients. This role involves direct participation in planning, designing, and reviewing plans for the erection of structures requiring stress analysis.

ResponsibilitiesDirect or participate in planning, designing, or reviewing plans for the erection of structures requiring stress analysis.Design structures to meet load requirements, compute size, shape, strength, and type of structural members, or perform structural analysis of plans and structures prepared by others.Inspect existing projects and recommend repair and replacement of defective members or the rebuilding of entire structures.Develop plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and related details for projects.Prepare construction documents such as project manuals, specifications, and bidding documents.Assist in obtaining proposals for construction, act as liaison during construction, and/or perform construction surveillance per project requirements.Essential SkillsStructural engineeringStructural analysisRevitRISA 3DProfessional Engineer (PE) certification preferredAutoCADNavisworksBluebeamBuilding Information Modeling (BIM)Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringExperience with RISA 3DKnowledge of steel, concrete, and applicable codesMust have passed the FE ExamWork Environment

Our team consists of 12 people, including 6 designers, 5 engineers, and 1 architect. You may work up to 3 days remotely after completing training. Occasionally, travel to client sites will be required. We foster a hardworking but casual environment and prioritize work-life balance. Our small office team benefits from international support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00
