Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: New York City, NY
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in New York City. The successful candidate will work on bridge design and transportation design projects for the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze structural components for bridge and transportation projects.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.Utilize advanced engineering software and tools for structural analysis and design.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridge and transportation projects.Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, NYSDOT, MTA guidelines).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
