Structural Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Structural Engineer to join our Transportation Engineering team. This individual will support the design, analysis, and management of bridge structural projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge design and construction, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and a passion for transportation infrastructure.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior engineers and project managers to support the design and analysis of bridge structures.Assist with the preparation of engineering calculations, plans, and specifications for bridge projects.Perform structural analysis of existing and proposed bridges to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Support the development and coordination of project schedules and budgets.Prepare and review reports, proposals, and other project documentation.Assist with the preparation of technical presentations and client communications.Ensure that all project work meets company and industry quality standards.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders as needed.Provide technical support during construction phases and ensure timely resolution of any project issues.Support the preparation of project bids and proposals.Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in bridge engineering, codes, and best

QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge design, analysis, or construction.Experience with structural engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, SAP2000, or similar tools) is preferred.Familiarity with bridge design codes (e.g., AASHTO LRFD, local/state DOT requirements) is a plus.Previous experience in the transportation industry is highly desirableStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.Professional Engineer (PE) license
