Arup Malaysia is seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Engineer to provide consulting engineering services for key infrastructure projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to support the design and analysis of bridges, underground structures, and civil structures while fostering the development of junior engineers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with the chance to contribute to complex transportation and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity 

•    Take responsibility for specific parts of external design projects, working with minimal direct guidance.
•    Ensure the quality and accuracy of your work and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
•    Contribute to the design and planning of bridges, underground structures, and civil structures.
•    Assist with structural analysis, load calculations, and material selection while ensuring compliance with standards.
•    Represent your team in external meetings and collaborate on internal projects and activities.

Is this role right for you? 

•    A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
•    A minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering, particularly with medium to large infrastructure projects.
•    Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MIDAS Civil, StaadPro, and other structural/bridge design tools.
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards in all aspects of work.
•    A proactive attitude towards continuous learning, with a focus on staying up to date with industry innovations and trends.
