Job Title: Structural EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to manage the product life cycle from conceptual designs through production. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Sales team to design pedestrian bridges and oversee the entire concept to completion cycle. This role requires applying and upholding industry codes and collaborating with sales, production, and design teams to streamline project execution and solve design challenges. The position also involves project management, including schedules and budgets, and requires experience with structural steel and design of steel components. Responsibilities + Manage the product life cycle from conceptual designs through production. + Work with Sales to design pedestrian bridges. + Oversee the concept to completion cycle. + Apply and uphold industry codes such as ADM, ACI, AISC, ASCE, DOT, IBC, and NDS. + Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to streamline project execution and solve design challenges. + Manage project schedules and budgets. + Design structural steel components. Essential Skills + Design + Mechanical engineering + Structural engineering + Steel fabrication experience + Prefabricated structure experience + Project management experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering + 2-5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer + Experience in bridge design or prefabricated structures preferred + 2 years of project management experience + Proficiency in Tekla Structural Design or similar software Work Environment The position involves working in an office setting with some on-the-floor management, collaborating with the steel fabrication floor. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
